with such cheekiness so full of mischief
eyes that speaks volumes when words fail u
eyes alight with such delight
your trusting hand in mine as we walk
fingers that can barely grasp mine
u hurry to keep up with your tata (that’s me!)
cheeks all flushed and eyes alight with such delight
i shall never tire of your hugs
or your sweet tiny kisses raining on my face
teaching me about unconditional love
looking at life like only a child could
u teach me about the world; your world, my world
about what’s important
