yeeehar! am back in good ol kl...it's great to be home!
but the journey back has not been without incident....egads one which i'm almost embarassed to admit to at that! but what the heck! blogs are invented so dat ppl dan expose their various acts of grindelism!
it all started when i fell in lurve with this little pink linen drawstring skirt at, where else, H&M. of course at 9.90 Euros its a must buy! and then i saw this knitted off shoulder top...and the absolutely perfect black satin ballet slippers...both at H&M! what can i say, tolja i was a H&M junkie! anyway, i thought that the entire ensemble would be the perfect travelling outfit (i MUST be under the influence of some trippy drug when i thought this).
anyway, it turned out that the shoe was absolutely merciless, it was absolutely the wrong fit and blistered my left feet something fierce! ooh..what's a girl to do except to rush to the nearest corner store to buy some plasters. upon arrival at the charles de gaulle airport i got off the RER B from gare du nord and proceeded to storm into this corner store to get them plasters. from afar i saw this familiar packet of 'HANSAPLAST' looming large and bright behind the counter. AHAH!
in my best french accented english i asked for them well, pointed to the box, really. she looked somewhat discomfited, and looked at me seeming to ask whether do i really want those...all them time i'm thinking, will u hurry up! i'm in great pain here and have a plane to catch!
6 Euros? Egads, this shoe is really costing me!
i rushed out of the store and practically tore open the box. but then, eh? why are there foil packets in this box? hmm...dont recall plasters being sold in foil packets before. i even thought 'oh no! these are the wrong shape, the round ones'...till *EARTH CALLING RATUGYM*
hello...what comes in foil packets and round shape?
HOLY COW! these are coloured, fruit flavoured CONDOMS!
needless to say, aint never gonna show my sorry pink-linen-covered butt, with black off-the-shoulder knitted top and satin ballet slippers at that store ever again!
