blah-ness attack!

been a very 'blah' past few weeks, with no major dramas either on the homefront or here in the boondocks. by 'no major dramas' i mean:

1. no dead or dying chickens - well not unless you count 'missing'. one female chick from the pre-teen batch has gone missing and Az thinks it's fallen into the river at the back of our house. so there's 2 males to 1 female in that batch now. plenty of threesome action when they hit puberty!

2. no missing cats - after missing 2 ginger cats (we still don't know if they got lost, eaten or killed), one female and very preggers grey cat turned up at our house and after a few attempts at feeding it, it finally 'accepted' our invitation to hang around our house. so we now have to feed it and generally look after its well-being. hmm...

3. no more free durians - the owner of the durian tree in front of our house (near the public rubbish bin) got smart and started to visit his land every so often. so thats it then, no more free durians 'accidentaly' rolling at our feet as we empty the garbage bin. *sighs*

4. no more playing 'broker' - erm more chicken stories i'm afraid. ever since we 'sacrified' FIVE male chickens, Az is no longer on broker duty ie getting the female chickens for the males or literally, playing at being a 'bapak ayam'. being male (i guess) he felt pity that some just aint getting any due to there being only so few females and thought he'd do them a favour by catching a poor unsuspecting female and 'offering' her up to the testosterone-frenzy (do chickens have testosterone?) male. yes, we have no life.
