So sad...

One of Az's sisters called late last night to inform him that their sister-in-law had suffered a stillbirth. The fetus died in utero. The last time I saw Ida was a couple of months ago I think, and she was already quite advanced in her pregnancy. Recently, she developed complications and was admitted to hospital. Despite this sad tragedy, the family has been informed that she's not out of danger. She is scheduled to undergo a C-section tomorrow morning to remove the fetus as she's not able to go through a vaginal birth (their only daughter was also born via C-section).

This incident has made me think how lucky I am to be born at all, and about all the babies in my family who are all born so naturally and so healthily. It is indeed God's blessing.

This is indeed God's trial to the couple, may Allah S.W.T. grant them strength. Amin.
